

Simon Daniel lives in the city of Tukwila, WA is the Events and Programs Director for the Dominican Association in Washington State.
He was born and raised in the beautiful city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and moved to the United States in 2016 and calls Seattle home.
Simon loves dancing Bachata and Merengue but sports are his real passion, especially baseball and basketball.
He considers himself an Animal Protector and environmental conservationist. Simon studied International Relations at the Catholic University of Santo Domingo, he is currently working in the construction field specializing in granite countertops, a career he learned when arriving in Washington.
He remembers first experience arriving in the State and not being able to eat typical Dominican food or being able to go out to a Dominican nightclub or club where Dominican music is played, made him feel the need to created a Facebook group "Dominicans in Seattle" with the hopes to to connect with his fellow Dominicans and create a support community to help Dominicans.That has been one of his goals; to unify Dominicans in Washington, strengthen our culture, economy and Dominican Immigration growth.
As the Events and Programs Director, he is motivated to do everything in his power to facilitate and promote the events and programs of the association.
